Cup Crazy
I don't care if hockey has become a niche sport. I don't care if I am one of 5 Americans watching the playoffs. Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals has been f-ing awesome! Huge hits, stellar set-ups, a big comeback, amazing saves, even a defenseman taking (and scoring on) a penalty shot; this game has had it all. And as I'm writing this there is still 15 min left in the game. At this rate I hope it heads for triple OT. Damn, it's great to have hockey back.

Stanley Cup vs. The Apprentice Finale? Sorry, I've got Trump on, although I'll bet if my husband knew Game 1 was on, he'd be flicking back and forth.

Dang man, you shoulda waited 14 and a half minutes more and THEN you could REALLY say that this was a GREAT game! What didn't happen in it? The ugliest mug in the world is gonna hoist that cup up above his head next week and when he sees his reflection in it he's gonna say "Who's the fairest, face-off winingest center of them all?"
There's surely a couple of guys in the Edmonton locker room who feel like utter crap tonight...Bergeron for his useless take-out and Smith who was caught practicing his golf swing behind the net with .32 left. I'm sure Brindy thanked him for that!
I thought I was the only person still playing hockey this time of year... our playoffs start tonight.
Are the playoffs on OLN? Because we still don't get OLN. booger.
Wolske-Good luck in your playoffs and yes the Finals are on OLN, but I think they have a few games on NBC.
I think that the rest are on NBC, you can pick that up on yer picture box can't you? Just lokes...I know OLN isn't everywhere. Good luck Wolske, I want yer ugly mug to be able to hold something up too...whatever it is that you get to hold up for winning. See you guys this weekend!
